The August ’26 Mutable Eclipse: Market Crashes, Midterms & the End of an Era

When markets look frothy and everyone is chasing the same stock (or story), financial astrologers tend to reach for one planet above all others: Neptune. When negatively aspected, as it is by Mars at the end of August, Neptune can rule loss, bubbles, vapourware and the tempting investment opportunities sold to us that we would all rather not question — and on 28 August, a lunar eclipse in Pisces, Neptune's home sign, brings that whole theme to a head. Not only will this eclipse likely coincide with short-term cycle endings, usually over a three month period, but it will also start the process of closing out a 12-18 month nodal cycle that began in September 2024 and will officially end in February 2027. So the uncomfortable question worth asking is this: could this be the moment the much-predicted AI bubble finally bursts?

Tim Walz: Balancing the Ticket?

When Kamala Harris chose a little-known Minnesota governor and Nebraskan-born former teacher to be her candidate for VP on the Democratic ticket, many people wondered what she was thinking. But a few speeches in and a whole lot of good vibes, witty quips and tongue-in-cheek memes later, it's becoming crystal clear why she chose him.… Continue reading Tim Walz: Balancing the Ticket?

Feminomenon? Profile of Kamala Harris

Portrait of Kamala Harris

With Joe Biden having stepped down, and endorsed his VP, Kamala Harris, to take up the torch for the Democrats in the 2024 race for the White House, I thought it timely to have a look at her astrological chart to see if it could tell us what sort of leader she is, or could… Continue reading Feminomenon? Calling Time: Joe Biden Stands Down

Joe Biden reflects whilst standing at Oval Office window looking out

It's been quite a week in astrology land! After the shock of last Saturday's assassination attempt on Donald Trump, signalled by Monday's explosive Mars-Uranus conjunction, we end the week with a Capricorn Full Moon, which coincides with Joe Biden electing to bow out of the 2024 presidential race. Everyone who has watched him struggle with… Continue reading Calling Time: Joe Biden Stands Down

The April 2024 ‘American’ Eclipse – Some Preliminary Thoughts

There's been quite a lot of hype around 2024 eclipse season, especially the so-called 'Great American Eclipse 2.0' that's due to take place on 8 April in Aries over the North American continent.... With all of this in mind, I wanted to try and cut through all the noise and froth about this eclipse, examine some of the theories doing the rounds about it and at the same time, try and establish a few baseline facts and key criteria for judging the potential significance of this soli-lunar event...

Russia-Ukraine War: A Turning Point?

I felt compelled to share this divination publicly because it seemed so 'radical', as we say in divination circles... Last week, I did an I Ching reading post the departure of Boris Johnson from UK political life just to gauge the general zeitgeist and see what might be ahead, especially given Donald Trump's impending trial… Continue reading Russia-Ukraine War: A Turning Point?

Tory Leadership Race: Profile of Penny Mordaunt

Although Tory leadership hopeful, Penny Mordaunt, had to drop out of the contest at the 11th hour because she didn't have the requisite 100 backers to qualify, I thought it only fair to post this video, which I made before the announcement by the 1922 Committee on Monday 24 October 2022. A sensitive Piscean and… Continue reading Tory Leadership Race: Profile of Penny Mordaunt

Ready, Steady, Rishi.

Below is a summary video of the astrology and human design profile I did on Rishi Sunak during the last leadership race, along with a few additional comments below... https://youtu.be/MHil2xn8nlk Most of what I said still stands, especially around the problematic issue of his Human Design type, which does need a Manifestor (like Truss/Hunt) or… Continue reading Ready, Steady, Rishi.

Jeremy Hunt: Axe Man or Tory Saviour?

In the wake of the pound crash caused by Kwasi Kwarteng's disastrous 'mini-budget,' the Liz Truss government has elected to bring in Mr Fix-it, Jeremy Hunt. Son of a naval officer, a former 'Cameroon,' and an advocate of so-called Compassionate Conservativism who can speak fluent Japanese and was once head boy of his school, Jeremy… Continue reading Jeremy Hunt: Axe Man or Tory Saviour?

Will Liz Truss become the UK’s third female PM?

With just days to go until the Tory party announces who will become Britain's next Prime Minister, I thought it worth inspecting their charts for clues as to which candidate is likely to win...
